A random word here,
A poetic ramble there;
Writing is always near
Be it in you, me or the air.
Greetings, hello, welcome aboard and hold on tight! The waters are a bit wild for I have the soul of a poet and the maturity of a child!
You may call me Taylor, Shiny, Scribe, Tay, just keep it appropriate if you would be so kind. I am a twenty-nine year-old midwesterner who has spent most of his life in Missouri but had a year out in Utah. I love working with little kids and am currently a one year-olds teacher. It sure can get chaotic but those little smiles and happy moments make all the headaches worthwhile. When I'm not at work I'm most likely spending time with my mother, talking to my friends or writing at Panera Bread! Panera is my third home behind work and my actual home.
As a writer and a human being, I am learning to show myself more kindness and be more open to help from others. The road is long and the work is hard, but I'm going to keep chipping away. My hope is that anyone who stumbles upon my writing can feel uplifted or at the very least get a momentary reprieve from everything life throws at us. I find a lot of my own hope from being an uncle of seven, ages ranging from high school senior about to graduate to chunky little baby. I find so much enjoy in seeing my six nephews and one niece. I own plenty of "awesome uncle merchandise" and will continue to welcome more.
Alongside uplifting poetry, here you will also find work connected to my story Hellfire... that is yet to be written. However, I have had so much amazing support and put in so much work that it's closer to paper than ever before. And even then, you can expect to see stories and poems focused on its characters who may at times cross over with others as well. I also have to give a shoutout to my partner-in-crime SunlessRose for being the brains behind many of Hellfire's ideas. Together we will take over the world with our writings! And what will we do with that power?! Ehhh... some things are better left unknown, my friends~
Do something good for yourself today, take a little time to smile at others and remember that we're all still kicking. Maybe, just maybe, we'll make it through the worst after all.
Thank you for the Watch!
Quite welcome you are~
Thank you for the watch!
Yes, of course~
You are most welcome~
Your poems have a good mix of a dose of reality, personal and semblances of hope.
