SCRIBE'S SCRIBBATHLON 2
(RUNS FROM JANUARY 4TH, 2017 TO FEBRUARY 17TH, 2017)
(The name is very un-imaginative but I like the alliteration XD)
The name of the game is the same as last time: there will be three categories, each corresponding to a different noun (person, place, and thing). For each person, place, and thing, there will be five images presented. Your job is to take ONE image and only ONE image from EACH category and use the three you selected to tell a story. Once again, prose and poetry are both welcome; there will be no word limit so that all entrants may be able to express themselves as they wish. All genres are welcome as well; write in whatever way you think is best!
With that said, here are the categories and respective images. Please note that I had no hand in making any of these pieces of art. I am not gaining any sort of profit from sharing these images; my one wish is to provide inspiration for my fellow writers. As for the artists who did create these pieces, they're all linked below and their pages are definitely worth your time to check out!

Those are the images, and now for the prizes you can win:
FIRST PLACE: 225 points, watch, llama and three free stories (can be any genre, any kind of writing)
SECOND PLACE: 150 points, watch, llama and two free stories (can be any genre, any kind of writing)
THIRD PLACE: 75 points, watch, llama and one free story (can be any genre, any kind of writing)
Finally, the rules:
1. Only one image may be chosen per category.
2. Please choose one image from all three categories.
3. You may submit as many times as you wish, although if you are going to do multiple entries, please choose a different trio for your other entry. Even if you only pick one different image, the outcome will still change.
4. As many people can write for a category or set of categories as they wish. There is no "occupancy limit" when it comes to who chooses what category.
5. There is no word limit. As many or as few words as you need to express what you want to express.
6. In order to enter the contest, you simply need to write up your piece, then mention me in your description and/or send me a note and I'll add it to a favorites folder labeled "SCRIBBATHLON 2 ENTRIES".
7. The contest comes to an end at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, February 8th. The results will be announced no later than Thursday, February 16th; if you miss the deadline, you may still submit so long as the results have yet to be announced.
8. All forms of literature are acceptable.
9. Only literature is allowed.
10. Though one may submit as many times as they wish, I will only select one entry per person when it comes to winners in the name of fairness.
